When choosing your dressage jacket, remember dressage judges are the most conservative of all competition horse riding discipline judges, at the lower levels of dressage riding you can usually wear a tweed hacking jacket, but other levels require a competition jacket and the higher levels specify dressage tail coats. When selecting your jacket ensure it allows you to freely move and the sleeves just cover your wrists when your arms are bent. The traditional dressage jacket colours are black for men and navy for women although both genders can wear black or navy jackets.
Well made sturdy boots that give a comfortable fit & don't spin due to their design.
