I bought this halter for my Percheron because she is just so big and can be hard to control at times. I had been using a regular chain over the nose but I could never predict when she was going to go into dragon mode. This halter gives me the option to have control at any time when I need it, without having to run back to the barn for a chain. And of course when she is being a good girl, I can have the lead hooked to the halter and not the chain. LOVE this halter.
